Is Plasma Donation Advisable While On Testosterone?

I am on testosterone for hormone replacement therapy due to transitioning. I am allowed to donate plasma but I was wondering if when I donate plasma am I losing a large amount of the testosterone that I take once every two weeks? How much hormone actually is in the plasma taken out?

Hello,

Testosterone is a type of steroid. You may not be advised to donate blood since you are on steroid treatment. You need to consult the blood bank specialist for further discussion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
