Is Plastic Burnt Smell Bad For Health?

After running my dishwasher I noticed a bad smell. when I opened it a ton of smoke came out and the source was a plastic lid that had melted from the heat of the dishwasher. A ton of smoke and smell was released into my home but we removed the lid and the smoke finally cleared. An hour later I still smell the burnt plastic. Is this bad for us?

Yes the smoke of plastic lid is bad for your health and your family.
Kindly do not inhale the smoke.
Smell itself will not cause anything but smoke will.
