Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion, you should first get done chest x ray to rule out pneumonia.
Because lung infection is very common in asthma patients.
You are also having chest pain on coughing and breathing. This is known as pleurisy and pneumonia is the most common cause for pleurisy.
So possibility of pneumonia is more. And pneumonia is infection, so it is definitely curable.
You need broad spectrum antibiotics, antihistamines and anti inflammatory drugs.
Usual time for recovery is 1-2 weeks.
So consult doctor and start appropriate treatment.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
