Is Popping Sound In Abdomen Sign Of Ripped Stitches After Hysterectomy?

I had a vaginal assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy and they also removed my right ovary. I was trying to have a bowel movement tonight and was straining really hard and I felt something pop in my abdomen. Could I have just ripped the stitches open on the inside? My stomach is swelling and it hurts again.
