Is Possible Parenchymal Disease As Per A Thyroid Report Showing Solid Hypoechogenic Nodules A Serious Concern?

Normal size thyroid with masses. Right lobe showed a1.06×0.83×0.66cm solid mass with hypoechogenic rim and atleast three subcentimeter solid hypoechogenic nodules. Left lobe showed a 2.30×1.68×1.25cm isoechogenic solid mass with slightly hypoecogenic rim. Possible pareynchymal disease. This is my ultrasound result. Will you kindly explain it. Thanks

Hi,

As you explain the history you should do the functional hormones of the thyroid glands too. Than you should consult an endocrinologist for further follow up.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Jolanda
