Is Pregnancy Possible After Skipping Birth Control Pills?
I was on my period for five days and saw my gp to start in the pill I had been taking the pill for two days and in the second day my period had stopped and I had unprotected sex and since then I haven t been taking the pill because I have lost the pill sheet will I be protected from pregnancy or is there a chance I could of gotten pregnant?
Let me tell you that, if you've had unprotected sex in the first week after your periods stopped, then there are minimal chances of becoming pregnant even if you were not on pills. You will be protected from becoming pregnant, if you continue with your pills.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma,
