Hi im 36 years old. I have had my tubes tide and have not had my period in 6 months. I know I m not pregnant, since I took a test and it was negative and just came from the doctor and took one of theirs and was negative. I have movement in my stomach in the last couple days that feels similar to being pregnant so what could it be since Im not pregnant?

Hello,

You are having amenorrhea for six months. Your pregnancy test is negative. So you need to do further work up in form of pelvic examination and pelvic ultrasonography. If any specific cause found than treated accordingly. It's also advisable to investigate with serum TSH estimation, hormonal profile check up also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami,
