Is Pregnancy Possible Despite HCG Test Being Negative?

Hi I ve had no period since April. I ve been to the emergency room for really bad cramping and all around not feeling well. They did a transabdominal ultra sound and later diagnosed me with pcos. My periods have never been irregular & was thinking that I m pregnant but my hcg test taken 3 weeks ago was negative. Is pregnancy a possibility still?why am I not experiencing a period & having extreme pain?

BetaHCG is the confirmatory test for pregnancy and if betaHCG is negative, pregnancy is not possible. Consult a gynecologist for expert opinion.
