Is Pregnancy Possible Despite A Negative UPT And Nausea?
Hey! My name is Shyenne, I have some questions and concerns. My period is late by 40 days...I ve had little cramping, tender breast and nausea during the 40 days. I ve taken 3 home pregnancy test stating negative and I also went to a health clinic and they also told me negative. Today the 40th day I ve been nauseous and earlier this evening I had brown spotting! I m very confused! Please help
Delayed periods can be due to pregnancy or other causes such as : (a) emotional or physical stress or illness (b)thyroid disease (c)polycystic ovarian syndrome (d)high levels of the hormone prolactin (e)inadequate diet (f)high levels of physical activity (g)side effect of medication
If the period continues to be delayed, would need to consider seeing your doctor for an assessment. This would include blood tests for hormone levels and imaging such as ultrasound.
I hope this helps
