Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Periods Being Normal?

I ve had sex with my boyfriend many times. I am on Nexplanon and we don t use condoms. We had sex one day with no condom and I was on my period. I bled for four days after wards. Then two weeks later I had my period. Normal because of the implant. And so we had sex again, with a condom due to my paranoia and I bled for about 10 days after that. However I am now terrified that I am pregnant from the first time, but I ve never become pregnant before. What are the chances I am pregnant?

Hello,

Since you are on Nexplanon, chances of pregnancy are rare. Nexplanon is 99% effective.

Ideally, you should use condoms, Nexplanon will protect you from pregnancy & not from sexually transmitted diseases. Do not go for multiple partners, stay safe from STI.

Since you had penetrative sex while you were having periods, you have rare chances of getting pregnant.
