Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking I-pill?

Hi, i had sex wth my bf, on17th of july. I am sure he didn t cum inside me. I had my periods on 1st July.i had taken ipill on18th, b4 24hrs, i didn t hav any withdrawl bleeding. I m really tensed regarding my nxt period dates for the mnth of August, generally i periods r very regular. Please fetch me wth da ans. Whn am i, 2 get my periods for the month of August.

Hello dear
Understand your concern
As you had I pill with in 24 hour after sex, it is 95 % effective in preventing the pregnancy. So there may be 5% chance of pregnancy. It is not necessary in all case withdrawal bleeding will be occur.
Some time I pill cause delay in the period by 7-10 days. So if your period will be delay by 14 days from the normal expected period then go for pregnancy test and or Blood HCG to confirm the pregnancy.
If pregnancy test will positive then still you can terminate the intrauterine pregnancy by abortion pill under the advice and observation of gynecologist.
