Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking I-pill?

I had unprotected sex on 5 November,also took ipill 72 hour after completing 24 hours. After Taking ipill i don t have any kind of side effect like headact,vomiting,pain,bleeding ete. But today 12 November i had bleeding only once. what is means am i pregnant?

Hello,

The medicine you mentioned is supposed to prevent unwanted pregnancy. And there are very fewer chances that it can fail due to unknown reasons. Presence of bleeding doesn’t mean that you are pregnant.

It may be menstrual bleeding or may not be. You can wait for another week and as per your menstrual cycle if you miss your periods for more than a week or two.

Get a urine pregnancy test done that is easy to do by yourself with the help of a kit that is available in the market. If it comes negative then you are not pregnant.

Even after that, you feel any doubt, see a gynaecologist and get your doubts cleared with her advice.
