Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Postinor-2?

Hi, I had unprotected sex on the first day of my menstrual cycle. (my period was meant to start that day and it didn t) to avoid a baby I don t want now, I took the postinor 2 pill but now my period wouldn t still show up, I m about 3 days late. Just worried cause I ve heard about cases where ladies don t get their period anymore (like forever) due to the post pill tablet

Hello,

I understand your concern. Postinor-2 taken within 72 hours after having unprotected sex is the best way to avoid a pregnancy. However, its use can delay your period for up to one week. This is normal.
If you do not get your period in three to four weeks after the expected date then, by all means, take a pregnancy test.
