Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Postpone 72 Pill?

I had unprotected sex yesterday at 8 evening. Actually I don t know what should I say he dint really ejaculate inside but still out of fear I took postpone 72 today. What should I really do here after to stay out of trouble. Please help me out. Thanks.

Postpone 72 is an emergency contraceptive pill. It should be taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse to be effective to prevent pregnancy. Earlier it is taken, better the chances of pregnancy prevention.

It prevents pregnancy by preventing or delaying ovulation or by interfering with fertilization of an ovum.

Since you have taken it in time, it should be effective in preventing pregnancy.

You should get her periods within 3 weeks from the day of taking the pill. That indicates that you are not pregnant.

If it is delayed for more than 3 weeks, it indicates you might be pregnant and you need to seek medical help immediately.
