Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Tricira-Lo Pill?

I m on birth control. I am on tricira lo 28 and on pill 13 currently. I had my period about 2 and a half weeks ago. I have never missed a pill or been late taking them. However I have extremely sore breasts and bad acne right now for a week.. i took a pregnancy test and it was false. My period is due in a week and a half. Is there a chance I m pregnant or is this simply my hormones? I have been on this birth control for 6 months and haven t had these symptoms since my first pack. Also I left my birth control pills in my car throughout the winter because I would leave my wallet in there and I m not sure if the freezing cold would make them not effective?

Hi, sore breasts and acne are side effects of birth control pills which may be seen after few months of using them. So, if your pregnancy test is negative, you are not pregnant. Failure of pills occur sometimes, but it is rare.
