Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking A Contraceptive Pill?

Hi, I got my last period on 27th september, and then I had sex on 4th October i have a cycle of 30 days... We used condom and it did not get torn,it did not split, I also had morning after I pill, and after 1 and a half week had dark brown colored bleeding for 3 days ( not very heavy) and now I m 4 days late for my period as today is 31st.... Can I be pregnant?

Hello,

With the things you have said, it is less likely that you are pregnant. But, sometimes despite all the measures, people end up getting pregnant. In your situation, I would suggest you get a urine pregnancy test done after a week or two. You can try using different urine pregnancy test kits just to have a clear idea.

If tests come negative and even after that you won’t get your periods then I would suggest you see a gynaecologist. She will guide you further on this, if needed she might ask you to get some diagnostic tests done to find out the underlying cause for delayed periods.
