Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking An I-pill After Intercourse?

I had unprotected sex with her on 7 Her priods got over on 6 .. i have not release sperm inside but still some chance is there.? Ipill is given within 24 hour is it still possible that she will become pregnant? Bcz aftet 5 of taking ipill she is feeling vomit.? Plzz help me

Hi,

I understand your concern. There is no chance of pregnancy because:

1. Sex was done on next day after period. It is completely safe period of cycle. There is no ovulation at this time so no fertilization will occur.

2. I pill was taken with in 24 hours and it is highly effective in preventing pregnancy. It is 95-98% effective.

Vomiting feeling could be due to side effect of I pill as it contain high progesterone. I pill also cause intermenstrual bleeding, delayed period by 1 to 2 week, earlier period, excessive bleeding can occur. So do not worry if period will delay by more than 2 week. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water, take small frequent meal rather than large meal, take tablet metoclopromide at bed time if vomiting is intolerable, do regular exercise.
