Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking An I-pill?

My friend had unprotected sex n took ipill immediately after that..now on 2nd day she has abdominal cramp,burning sensation while urinating..are these symptoms normal,is there still any risk of pregnancy.. It was 10th day after her previous menstruation cycle ending when she took the pill..any risks?

From what you have mentioned, she may have had sexual intercourse on very mildly fertile day, provided that she has a regular cycle. Even though she did take an I- pill, there is always a slight possibility of conception as it is not a highly effective form of contraception. However, chances are very slim as the day of the cycle may not be fertile in combination with the i- pill.
The symptoms you mentioned are more suggestive of an urinary tract infection or even a sexually transmitted infection like chlamydia.
