Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking An Emergency Contraceptive Pill?

Hi Doctor, me and my girlfriend have an unprotected sex and i m not confirmed that my sperm goes inside her or not but i gave her an i-pill within 2 hours and after somedays her vagina starts bleeding. And now she is not having her periods, is she pregnant?? Thank you

Hi, I think there is very little chance of pregnancy if she had bleeding after taking I pill. But do a urine pregnancy test at home to rule out pregnancy. Sometimes failures do occur. If pregnancy test is negative, it can be a side effect of emergency pill. She can take some medicines like meprate or deviry for inducing periods.
