Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking An Emergency Contraceptive Pill?
I had primolute n from 28th September to 4th October and on 1st October I had an emergency contraception pill. Around a week later I had very less bleeding and blot clots for a day...on 12th October I had an EPT done and it was negative. As prescribed by doctor I had regestrone tablet twice a day for 5 days...after few days of completion of course. I got to see a very little amount of blood clot again. Can I be pregnant??

Hello. there is a minor possibility of pregnancy even after taking emergency pills. Best is to get a urine pregnancy test to confirm. UPT comes positive by one week f conception. If any further doubts meet a gynecologist. Ultrasound scan of abdomen gives confirmatory diagnosis as to whether you are pregnant or not. with regards- Dr Sanjay Kini
