Hi there, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
First of all do not panic.
As you might be aware that emergency
contraceptive pills are to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex activity.
It helps to prevent unwanted
pregnancy in most of the cases.
If your partner has already taken the pills ,then she needs to wait till the onset of her expected date of menses.
She need not take the pills again and if there is no sexual activity in the next cycle then then there is no need of taking the pills in the next cycle.
As you have mentioned that you will be meeting very rarely and do not want to get pregnant, the best and ideal way of
contraception will be use of barrier contraceptive method like Condom.
As using emergency contraceptive pill is not free from side effects. It has high dose of
progesterone hormone and is known for eratic withdrawal bleeding.
So I will suggest you to have proper and timely use of Condom.
I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
