Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Morning After Pill?
Okay. So my boyfriend and I had sex. We didn't have a condom and he stuck his penis in me but he didn't not ejaculate. I don't know if he pre-cummed or not but I'm thinking he did. I took the morning after pill within 24 hours, so is it possible that I could be pregnant? It also hurts when I pee, so is that a side effect from the pill, does that mean I could be pregnant, or do I have a uti?
General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. * Taking morning after pill within 24 hours of unprotected sex prevents conception ( let it be free ejaculation/precum) You need not worry. * The pain/burnning in urination is not a sign of pregnancy, it must be due to- - Local stress during stress, - UTI Observe it for a couple of days, keep the part clean, take plenty of water / alkaline mixture. If it does not heal ,get your urine R&M done ,consult your doctor for specific antibiotic. Thanks.
