Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Oral Contraceptive?
Hello Doctor, I am 24yrs old and so is my partner. My partner tried to penetrate me on Aug 6 but it was too painful so he stopped (unprotected) . I bled for 2 hrs after the incident and took an ECP within 24 hrs. I have regular cycle of periods. I am expecting my periods on 11th Aug. I haven t experienced any side effects after taking the emergency pill. What are the chances I might get pregnant? Since it happened during my post ovulation phase. It was my first time. My last period was on 15th July.

I understand your concern.
You had sex after your fertile days.So you have least chances of conception.
Your coming period may be disturbed a bit.. because of additional load of hormones in form of I pill was added.
Please be careful to have a well protected sex hence forth.. as unjustified & frequent consumption of I pill is not recommended.
