Is Pregnancy Possible Despite The Test Showing Negative Results?

I m 24 and have been off the depo shot since September 2015. I started the pill for about 3 months. My periods have been all over the place. I have completely stopped taking the pill. My boyfriend and I have unprotected sex all the time. My last period was April 8th I am now spotting I am nauseous and have bad headaches and some stomach pressure. We last had intercourse April 25. I am due for my period around May 8th. I took a test it said negative. Could I be pregnant?
