Is Pregnancy Possible Dispite Taking Emergency Contraceptive Pill?
Hello online doctors.i had unprotected sex on 30th aug i took an emergency pill on 31st of aug..i am breastfeeding and i have received two menses on july and aug after i delivered last year in oct..my period have delayed and my nipples feel abit sore..Apart from abdominal discomfort and very mild cramps i have no experienced any other symptoms..My basal temperature ranges between 34.5 -35.8..and i also visit the toilet for long calls alot for the past one week..Could i be pregnant
Although this is not very likely, it is, however, possible that pregnancy occurs so you had one risky intercourse and if this happened during your ovulation period it is possible that pregnancy occurs, but considering your description of it, this risk is minor. To be sure you should do a pregnancy test which can be done when the period is missed or 8 days after the targeted intercourse so at this point it would be accurate enough to detect possible pregnancy. Standard urine test would be enough for it since this is almost 99% accurate.
