Is Pregnancy Possible Even After Taking Pill For It?

If I had sex on the 11th and then took the next choice two dose the day after and my period is on the 20th does that mean if I have my period I know I'm not pregnant or do I have to wait until my next period to figure out? What is the chance of next choice not working also?
