Hello,

The first cardinal symptom of pregnancy is missing a period. If she has got her menses after the intercourse, she is not pregnant. Menses appearing a couple of days late do not indicate pregnancy.

In future, to avoid such stressful situations, please use reliable contraceptive methods like contraceptive pills, condom, or intrauterine device regularly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishikant Shrotri
