General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. All cases of PCOD won't have infertility. If ovulation is present then you can get pregnant. Even if there is no ovulation , with proper treatment you can get pregnant. If you have a normal and regular period then you are most likely having ovulation. Loosing 10 percent of weight is helpful to get normal periods in most women. Taking metformin , liraglutide injections and diet is helpful for this also. Ovulation stimulants like clomiphene is helpful to induce ovulation in case of anovulation also. A consultation by gynecologist who is doing infertility treatment is well appreciated. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
