My friend was fertile the time when her boyfriend and she had unprotected sex and heis bf ejaculated on the top of her pubic thing (Near the vagina/withdrawal) and he think that there are some that left inside her. She have taken the first dosage of Nordette, September 18, 4:45pm, an hour after they did the deed. on then second dosage on September 19, 4:45am. Is there still a possibility that she will be pregnant? she is lack of sleep and stress everyday. And 1 week have passed still no withdrawal bleeding
I can understand your concern for your friend. Your friend needed contraception after the unprotected sexual intercourse. So she should have taken emergency contraceptive pill like i pill, Plan B etc. Nordette is not an emergency contraceptive pill. It is to taken for 3 weeks starting from the 2nd day of menstruation cycles. Taking Nordette AFTER unprotected sexual intercourse or taking 1 or 2 pills randomly do not provide contraceptive effects.
Now, if one week has passed since the unprotected sexual intercourse, your friend should take a home pregnancy test. If it comes negative and she is delayed for 10 days for menstruation after the expected date, she should consult a gynecologist for physical examination and further investigations.
I would also like to point out here that having unprotected sex and ejaculating outside vagina does not eliminate chances of pregnancy as fluid from penis before ejaculation also contains sperms that can make a woman pregnant.
I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
