General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

This medicine is adviced by doctors for kidney stones as well, as it is considered effective in the passage of medium to large sized stones, it does not crush the stones but it helps in the passage of stones with urine outside of the body.

There is a decrease in blood pressure observed initially with the use of this drug so it is used cautiously in patients who have low blood pressure so I would suggest you take the medicine only with your doctor’s advice.

About effectiveness, it totally depends on your doctor as he knows details about your illness well so it varies patient to patient.

I would suggest you talk to your doctor about tour doubts before taking this medicine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
