Hi,

It is generally recommended to avoid sexual intercourse for at least two weeks after having a cryotherapy procedure to reduce the risk of infection and promote healing. However, if you had unprotected sex during your fertile period, there is a chance that you could become pregnant. It is important to use contraception if you are not planning to conceive.

It is also important to follow up with your healthcare provider to ensure that the cryotherapy procedure was successful in treating any cervical abnormalities and to monitor your overall reproductive health. They can provide you with more specific advice based on your individual medical history and current health status.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
