I understand your concern.
Pregnancy is not possible if the tubes are cut and ligated by a procedure called 'tubectomy', when performed correctly. However, since ovulation is not affected after cutting of tubes, you can possibly become pregnant, if desired so, by the following means:
1. You can undergo tubal recanalization surgery, but does not guarantee that it would be success.
2. You can undergo assisted means of reproduction like invitro fertilization (IVF).
However, although your age is capable of becoming pregnant, chances of conceiving would decrease as age advances. Moreover,
smoking is a additional risk that could have an adverse outcome to conceive.
