Is Pregnancy Possible Through Intercourse During Delayed Menstruation?

i am 27 year old female married for 2 years,my LMP was 8/5/2015,i have not got periods yet,i have done pregnancy test but i come to know that i have done it at wrong day,so i am not yet confirm that whether i am pregnant or not? so my question is this,can i have sex without using precautions or do we have to use precautions until my pregnancy is confirmed ?

Hello,

If you have delayed menstruations, you should get clinically examined by a gynecologist. Get blood and urine test done to confirm pregnancy. Your treating gynae will recommend you to get USG- uterus done for a detailed study. You will be managed accordingly.

Yes, if you have unprotected intercourse and are not on regular CP or do not take emergency CP within 24 hours, you are at risk of getting pregnant. If you are not planning for a baby then you should take precautions.
