Is Pregnancy Possible Through Intercourse During Menstruation?

Hi doc.i have a question,we had sex by my boyfriend last dec.6 , 7pm and that was the 1st day of my period.. however, during wen we are watching movie at the mall, my period that time is really heavy so wen we went to hotel do sex, and we havent used condom, how much is the percentage to get pregnant?my menstrual period is regular.. pls answer me coz that was the first time i committed sex during menstruation.u know i have a long distance relationship so i gp for it.pls help me understand.thanks doc!

Hi,
I understood your concern.
If your periods are regular, it was 1st day of your scheduled period & the bleeding was profuse as you say( scanty bleeding may be ovulation bleeding & it does carry chance of conception.) you hardly have a chance of conception.In such condition it's 0%.
- Though sex during periods is said to be safe, tension free. I would advise a special care of genital hygiene.
