Is Pregnancy Possible Through Intercourse Immediately After An Abortion?

I had a surgical ab 3-27, i had unprotected sex twice within the first week of the abortion. The bleeding turned slightly brown an just stopped an my pregnancy symptoms came back. I also took a test on 4-7 which was + and two on 4-8 which were -. When should i take another test to see if im pregnant?

Hello,

Yes, pregnancy can occur after a miscarriage or abortion, if you are not on contraceptive pills and have been having unprotected intercourse. You are experiencing symptoms of pregnancy. You have taken pregnancy tests which are confusing you further. You are suggested to get pregnancy test done in a laboratory with the first morning mid stream urine.

You should also get a blood test done to detect HCG. Get clinically examined by a Gynae, you may be asked to get a USG done to detect pregnancy or any other pathology that is causing you symptoms. Stay at rest, do not stress. Pregnant or not you will be treated accordingly.
