Is Pregnancy Possible Through Intercourse On The First Day Of Menstruation?

Dear sir\madam Its been 24 days since v made love . And the day we made love was supposed to be the first day of ny menses .My pregnancy test shows a very faint line . What doed it mean ? Also suggest some measures or remedies to lose this pregnancy . Please reply at the earliest. Thank you

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Having intercourse a day soon after your periods rarely leads to pregnancy. This is because it is not the fertile period and usually ovulation occurs by 9th to 15th day from day 1 of your periods.
You must be worried about being pregnant if you miss your periods. Since you have got a faint line in pregnancy test, it could be a false positive.
However, to rule out pregnancy and make sure it is negative, kindly do the following:
1. Blood beta-HCG levels.
2. Transvaginal ultrasound scan.
If you get your periods, no need to undergo any test as that confirms that you are not pregnant.
