Hi,I am chandrima(25 years).I am Nw suffering from chicken pox for last 6 days...my LMP was 20th may,2017.my cycle is of 26 days...but this month I don t have period till now...on last 10th may I had oral sex with my boyfriend... But after that on 20 th may I had menses...is this missed period due to chicken pox or due to pregnancy?!! Please inform me... Thank you...

Hello,
Thanks for letting us know your health concern. The delay in the menstrual cycle is due to the infection and not due to pregnancy. This is because you had your natural period after the sexual act. Moreover, the manner of sexual activity cannot cause pregnancy as there is no intercourse leading to sperm deposition in the vagina. Please see your health care provider for further help if you become overdue by ten days. Take care.
