Is Pregnancy Possible Through Pre-ejaculatory Fluid?

Hi! Me and my girlfriend had safe sex four days before her period was supposed to come and during the sex I didn t ejaculated at all. Her period is late and its stressing the both of us out that it is. Is it normal for it to be late even though we had safe sex and even though I didn t ejaculated during the sex? Should we be worried or are we over thinking the whole situation.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

With diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. In the majority of cases, there isn't enough sperm in pre-cum to result in pregnancy.

But I am not completely ruling this out, although I would like to say that the pre-cum release just prior to ejaculation may/may not contain some amount of sperm to cause conception, but this has very rarely been seen or proved.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Iven Romic Rommstein, General Surgeon
