2months after giving birth to my baby, I was injected contraceptive good for 3 months, after my duedate I decided nt to continued the injections bec I feel heavy in my tummy since there s is no menstruation happens to me within three months, I consult with city health officer to changed my family planning and take pills instead. 4th to 5th month my menstrual cycle is 21st of the month. but I always skip to take pills. and to start again nd again... 1st week of the month when we have unprotected sex with my husband... its now on 29th and no menstruation... I take 4pills of nordette now.pLease help
Birth control pills should be regularly taken every day at the same time in order to maintain your hormone levels. Missing the pill or taking them irregularly can reduce the efficacy and increase the chance of pregnancy. I would suggest you to take a pregnancy test by 2 weeks after sexual intercourse or 10 days after your missed period. Any testing before this period can cause false negative results.
