Is Pregnancy Possible When One Is Not Ovulating?

I have a 25 days cycle (regular period) and my menstrual period lasts for at least 6 days. My period started on the 26th of may and my ovulation calendar shows me that I ovulated on the 6th of June. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend 5 days after my ovulation peak (6th). Do I have a high chance of pregnancy or am I safe? I m worried that I might get pregnant

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You have chances of getting pregnant even though it is not your ovulation day showed in your kit.
You may get pregnant because the kits are not 100% accurate and you still can get pregnant 4 days after ovulation even though the probability is reduced.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
