Is Pregnancy Possible While Having PCOS?

Hello doctor, I have PCOS and I'm was prescribed for Birth Control pills and Metformin. I'm on this medication for 1yr now. I was advised to take this until I plan for a baby. I heard from some people that if I take Birthcontol pills for a long time I will be not able to conceive. I'm worried about this. I'm not financially stable for a child now as I'm a student. But I'm hoping for a child in 2016. I'm 29 now. Please can you give me an advice. Will I be able to conceive even I have PCOS?
