Is Pregnancy Possible While On Nexplanon?

I ve been on the nexplanon for about 6 months. I had sex but the condom broke and my bf thinks he may have ejaculated in me. I had a brown discharge for two days. It s been about a week and for about a day I had a light pink discharge only when I wiped. My sister and I are close and she is on her period and I bleed last month at this time. Am I pregant?

Hello dear,
Nexplanon is a reversible long term contaception.
It contain etanogestrel.
Its failure rate is only 0.05% after perfect use.
I think there is no chance of pregnancy.
But if you want to check just confirm it by Urinary pregnancy kit, 7-10 days after regular date of period.

Also note the common side effect of nexplanon:
1. Irregular bleeding and spotting
2.Mood swings, Weight gain, Headache, Acne, Depressed mood
3. Vaginitis may be cause in your case.

For vaginitis you shold take following treatment:
You should use following single dose treatment:

1. AZEE 1000 mg (AZITHROMYCIN)
2. TINI 1 G (TINIDAZOLE)
3. ZOCON 150 mg (FLUCONAZOLE)
or you can take tablet metronidazole 400 mg three times a day for three day

So very rare chance to become pregnant in your case.
Exclude other cause as I described above.
