Is Pregnancy Possible While On Birth Control Pills?

I am taking Lo Loestrin FE and this is the beginning of my second month. I take the pill every day, but not at the same time. It s always usually before or around lunch. I had unexpected, unprotected intercourse last night and am worried that I could have gotten pregnant since I don t stick to a specific time of taking the pill everyday. Should I go buy Plan B? Or are my chances too low to spend the money?

Hi
Loestrin FE is 99% effective when taken DAILY. Since you are taking before or around lunch daily its efficacy will not be reduced.

Your chances of conceiving are too low ( may be as a result of method failure of contraceptive pills). There is no need to take Plan B.

I hope I have answered your concerns. If you have any further queries do write to me through Healthcare Magic. I will be happy to answer.
