Is Pregnancy Possible While On Birth Control Pills?

Hello, I have been on the pill for months, this month I took the last in the packet and carried straight over to the next packet, that same night I had sex. Is there any chance I can get pregnant or will I be ok? I ve had a stressful month, flew to Spain from England...I don t like flying and this can sometimes upset my system. Is there any problem with taking the morning after pill just to be safe or do you think I will be ok? Many thanks. ..............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Birth control pills offers 99% protection against pregnancy. Since you have just altered the schedule and not missed the dose, it should continue to offer protection.
However, if you have much doubts, you can always take morning after pill within 72 hours to be on the safer side.
Only thing that could happen with this is an alteration of your menstrual cycle.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
