Is Pregnancy Possible While On Irregular Usage Of Contraceptive Pills?

hello doctor,i have irregular periods for more than a year,my cycle was 60 days. My gync gave Ovaforce and folic acid with Yamini pills(Contraceptive pills). i has taken the pill regularly for 7 days,den i missed 3pills in a row,in which i had intercourse with my hubby,vl i become pregnant in these days? as i have irregular periods and might ovulate lately.

Hello dear
Understand your concern
You forget to mention your last menstrual period date and when you did sex.
So if you did sex in fertile phase of cycle then chance of pregnancy is high.
But according to view of oral contraceptive pill, as you missed 3 pills means high possibility of loss effectiveness of contraception so it will not prevent against the pregnancy. So use barrier contraception like condoms in future to prevent the pregnancy.
You have to go for pregnancy test if period will not come.
But Blood HCG and USG are better option to diagnose pregnancy in your case as you have irregular period.

But you have to consul the gynecologist and find the cause of irregular period. It may be due to PCOS, hormonal imbalance.
You have to take OCP or progesterone pill for at least 4-6 months to regularize your period.
