Is Pregnancy Test Necessary In Case Of Sex In Clamydia Patients?
Me and my partner just found out we both have clamydia, we've been having unprotected sex for at least a month. She just got tested and is now taking antibiotics, what I would like to know is since one of the male symptoms is discharge from the penis, should i have her take a pregnancy test?
Chlamydia infection reduces the chances of pregnancy. If you and your partner both have Chlamydia infection then both should get treated at the same time and stop having sex for 15 days so that both of you are cured. Once treated, it is safe to have sex. Concerning pregnancy during the month of unprotected sex, please ask her to do the test at least 15 days after last sexual intercourse.
