Is Pressure Around A Meningioma Removal Site A Matter Of Concern?
I had a craniotomy in November 2006 to remove 2 meningiomas, was left with an Alice band groove across my head. Had last check by the surgeon in 2009. The left side of the groove has virtually disappeared. On the right is a significant dent a bit like the palm of a hand. From the right end of the dent has appeared another dent going forward to my forehead. I feel there is constant pressure on the dent, and occasional numbness on the right side of my face with some nerve pains coming down at the side of my nose. My GP sent me for x-rays but no radiologist s report. Should I be concerned?

It is a common postoperative symptom.
You can go for an MRI for reassurance. dray may not be useful in this condition.
