Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain swelling after wasp sting is due to inflammation which is caused due to allergic reaction caused by the poisonous chemical released by the wasp sting under the skin..
You should relax as the swelling does not go away so quickly and it takes time for inflammation to subside...
You should take antihistamine like Allegra 6O mg twice daily for 3 days..
For pain take OTC painkiller like Ibuprofen twice daily..
Apply ice packs over the swelling..
You can apply steroid based ointment like Hydrocortisone ointment for local relief..
Take a keen look at the swelling and if the wasp stinger is still present embeded in the skin remove it gently..

It will take atleast 3 to 4 days for the condition to gradually improve..

Hope this information helps..
