Is Prolonged Usage Of Oxycodone Harmful?

I have colen cancer and cancer on my spine and skin caner am 46i have had this for 3years now am on oxycodone 10 mg every 3 hrs. and it don t let me sleep I have talked to my Dr here in Pendleton Oregon and have decided to see another DR IN KENNIWICK DR STERPHEN LU I was old the oxycodone is bad drug called HERION is this true ?HE NOW HAS ME UP TO 5 PILLS EVERY 3 HRS AND MY PAIN IS h ORRIBLE

Oxycodone is an opioid pain medication. An opioid is sometimes called a narcotic.It is used to treat moderate to severe pain.It extended-release is used for around-the-clock treatment of pain. So if you have pain then you can use it but not always which is habit forming.So always take specific medications never take any symptomatic drugs.If you need pain killer other medications can be taken if you like.(Thanks)
