Is Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding A Symptom Of A Ruptured Cyst?
I was told six months ago that I possibly have Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome but I never completed all the testing because I moved to another state and did not have insurance. I think I may have had a cyst rupture about a month ago and I m still having bleeding. I have been bleeding for three months but prior to that I had not had a cycle for four months. I am just wondering if I should seek medical attention if it is possible that I did have a cyst rupture?

Is Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding A Symptom Of A Ruptured Cyst?
Hello, Cyst rupture is a possibility. However, cyst rupture can cause massive bleeding and you will collapse in a short time. Consult a gynecologist and plan for an ultrasound to make a diagnosis. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
